Coming from 2 generations of Glorious Wireless Mice and a Cooler Master MM710 I had moderate expectations coming into this. I wouldn't say any of the mentioned mice were great, however, I had a baseline feel for what a lightweight wireless mice should be like. The Lamzu Atlantis blows away all of the Glorious mice and has a much more comfortable shape for my claw grip compare to the MM710 (and it's wireless!). However, my main issue with the mouse is its battery life. It is slightly better than the Glorious mice, which are notorious for their short battery life, however, I need to charge the mouse once a day during high use periods (14+ hour days) and normally once every two days. Other than that, the mouse is everything that I would want and expect out of such a lightweight mouse.
Hi Alex, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are glad to hear that you are enjoying your Atlantis OG PRO mouse and that it has exceeded your expectations in terms of comfort for your claw grip. Good to know about the battery life and we'll share this with the team.
For reference, my hand's 19x9.5cm
I've only had my Thorn for a few days, so this is more of an early impressions review. To start, the build on my unit is solid. No creaking, no flexing, nothing feels loose. The coating on my white version feels nice and grippy. My hands tend to stay pretty dry, but I tried putting a little moisture on my fingertips and it felt even grippier.
I'd say the clicks are alright. I prefer the feel of mechanical switches, but for opticals I'd say the clicks are pretty good. The side buttons are on the larger side and stick out from the body more than usual. I actually like that, but I know it may be off-putting to some people. The skates are pretty good for stock skates and I haven't felt the need to change them ought yet.
As for the shape ... this is the first ergo mouse I've spent more than a few minutes with, so I can only really compare it to my experience with ambi mice. Compared to my Beast X 8K, it feels a lot more bulbous in the hand, both taller and wider. It's clearly intended for a claw grip. I get a pretty comfortable relaxed claw grip on it, but I can see it working really well for aggressive claw. It's got a fairly high mid hump that I find really locks my grip in place and the contours on the sides fit my hand nicely. The trade off for that locked in feeling is having to get used to having less vertical adjustability, though, which is something that took some getting used to. I'd say given it's size it might be okay for an aggressive claw for larger hands and its bulkier feel would probably be good for a smaller hands to palm.
As a first ergo mouse, I'm liking the completely different feel from my other mice. I'm still not sure if ergos are for me, but I intend to give it some more use to find out. Quality-wise it's great, so if you're like me and are looking to given an ergo a try, the Thorn seems like a pretty good choice.
The BL00 is a good neutral colour scheme makes it so easy to colour match for all my keyboards!
The colour works especially well for my Suave Blue Tomo!
Probably one of my favorite shapes over mice I’ve tried the last few years. It’s a bit like a mix of the Superlight and Pulsar x2. I appreciate the software, although I would’ve liked to see some more functionality like having profiles auto-swap based on what game is running. The bottom is a bit of a dust/hair magnet, but totally fine if you use the included dust cover.
Hey George! Thank you for your review of our Maya Mouse! We're glad to hear that you're enjoying it! - Deskhero Team
Awesome set of keycaps, looks cool on my jasper colored board. Like looking at a fall painting with some evergreens mixed in. I have never had a issue yet with ePBT keycaps
This was my first linear switch and it took me some time to get used to it since my previous switches have all been tactile (blues and box whites).
This switch's bottom out is quite heavy, but the top end is quite sensitive (This may be normal for linears but not sure). At first it caused a bit of mistypes but after a couple weeks I have started loving it. My new favourite switch and likely not going back to another anytime soon. The pre-lube is great and they're very thocky.
